Ece Muniroglu is a composer, arranger and pianist. Born in Istanbul, Turkey, she graduated from Berklee College of Music with a major in Contemporary Writing and Production in 2016. Since then, Ece started working with Disney as a teaching artist in a program called “Disney Musicals in Schools,” a program designed to bring musical theater to Boston public schools. Ece has also worked as assistant music director under Catherine Stornetta in Boston University’s production of “The Cradle Will Rock.”
Her other projects include orchestrating pieces for Berklee shows: “Curtain Up”, an annual cabaret and ”Al Murtaja: A Celebration of Sudanese Music” featuring celebrated guest artists from Sudan. Ece has arranged and recorded such celebrated songs from musicals as “Just Around The Riverbend,” and “Can You Feel The Love Tonight.” Besides orchestrating and conducting pieces for shows at Berklee, Ece also enjoys scoring for media and advertisements.
Prior to attending Berklee, Ece holds a degree in architecture from Istanbul Technical University (ITU). Skills from this time have served her well in designing and creating visuals. Her unique creative voice integrates her passions for composing, arranging, producing, orchestrating and designing.
